CALDWELL, ID – Last week, following an investigation, Caldwell police took Jaime Galvan, 31, into custody, after he reportedly gave large amounts of alcohol to a 14-year-old girl, and forced himself upon her.
The accused, along with his wife, lived in the same home as the girl and her mother.
Galvan asked the victim to “do something crazy like stay up all night and drink,” according to court documents.
After the girl consumed mixed drinks, provided by Galvan, she began to feel dizzy and “was running into things.” Once the girl lied down, the illegal alien began touching the teen, as she lay helpless. Despite her pleas to stop, Galvan then raped her, according to an affidavit.
The ordeal only ended when the girl’s loud cries prompted Galvan to exit the room, fearing her mother would be alerted to the attack. The victim’s mother came to check on her daughter, who told her of the assault, and police were quickly called to the scene.
She was taken to a local hospital, where she received an exam, indicating a sexual assault had taken place, and DNA was collected. Galvan has been charged with rape and lewd conduct involving a child under 16.
He is currently being held at the Canyon County Jail on $500,000 bond.
